Ranthambore National Park has now become the first tiger reserve in the country where a special type of tourism vehicle will be operated for the handicapped. An hotelier in Ranthambore has developed a special type of tourism safari vehicle for guests with disabilities.

In such a situation, if sources are to be believed, the operation of this special tourist jeep safari for the persons with disabilities will be started in Ranthambore from the upcoming tourist season.
Ranthambore is set to become the first tiger reserve in the country to facilitate safari rides for disabled guests. Experiencing the thrill of Tiger Safari in Ranthambore on a wheelchair jeep has long been a dream for many disabled tourists. Due to lack of proper facilities, such tourists were facing difficulties till now.
For the first time in the country, a special safari jeep has been developed for jungle safaris in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve to facilitate wheelchair-bound tourists.

There is also an electronic switch installed in the wheelchair. With its help, the gypsy can be easily climbed on the ramp. Along with this, the facility of folding the seats has also been given in the Gypsy. So that the disabled tourists do not face any problem, as well as the arrangement of seat belts has also been made from the point of view of safety.
Ranthambore country's first tiger reserve
An order was issued by the State Forest Department on 5 December 2020 on behalf of the Forest Department under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995. Under this, permission was issued for special tourist vehicles to enter the Tiger Reserve for the tour of disabled tourists.
But after this, Ranthambore is the first tiger reserve in the country where this type of special tourist vehicle (safari jeep) has been developed for disabled tourists.
Jeep Safari Inspiration for Persons with Disabilities
Ranthambore hotelier Balendu Singh has developed a special type of tourism vehicle for the disabled. Mr. Singh told that he is also handicapped and many times a large number of disabled tourists come to Ranthambore to visit but due to physical weakness they have to face difficulty in going on Ranthambore Jungle Safari.
In such a situation, many tourists return without doing Ranthambore Tiger Safari. When he saw this type of experiment in foreign countries, he developed a wheelchair gypsy so that even the disabled tourists can easily enjoy the jungle safari.
This is the first time in India that a state forest department will deploy such a safari vehicle for jungle safaris in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. If a disabled person wishes to sit in a wheelchair, the seats in the Safari Jeep can be folded, otherwise the disabled person can transfer to a seat-belt-equipped seat.
