Preserve National Parks and Save Wild Animals, Jaipur people insist on this incident :
Recently a chat show "A Mulakat" was organized in Jaipur and stories of tigers of Rajasthan were narrated and environmental issues were discussed. In conversation with businessman and nature lover Sunil Mehta, environmental worker Bittu Sehgal gave insight into the wildlife conservation in the country. This event was organized at Hotel ITC Rajputana. Chat-host was hosted by Prabha Khatana Foundation, presented by Shri Cement Limited in association with Jayashree Periwal Foundation.
Sehgal is known for his wildlife conservation program for school kids, that is "Kids for Tigers". He told with a quote, "I want to leave a better planet for my children, But at the same time, I want to leave better kids for my planet". Mr. Sehgal says that "Ranthambore National Park called me back and I travel to the Ranthambore Park at least three times in a year". But one thing I want to bring out is that "Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary is not a heaven for tigers, it is also known for other species of wild animals." He addressed issues such as human-animal conflict and suggested some solutions to solve them. He said, "He said, "The forests of our country, which include National Parks and Sanctuaries, are like ICU (Intensive conservation Unit), and urgent attention is needed to save our environment. We should look for alternative measures to overcome human-animal conflicts".
