Ranthambore-female-Forest-Guide Ranthambore's Female Nature Guide became the brand ambassador of Google

Surajbai Meena, a female nature guide of Ranthambore National Park, has been chosen as the brand ambassador by Google on the occasion of International Women's Day on Tuesday. On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Women Nature Guide of Ranthambore has achieved a splendid achievement.

Significantly, Surajbai is a resident of Bhuri Pahari village and is currently the nature guide of Ranthambore National Park. So far, she has guided many wildlife photographers and tourists during the jungle safari in Ranthambore.

Although at present she is not the only female forest guide in Ranthambore National Park, there are two other women working as EDC nature guides in Ranthambore National Park. The names of these two other EDC nature guides are Santosh and Choti. These are three women guides out of which one Ranthambore forest Guide and 2 EDC forest guides are related to rural environment. 

Ranthambore National Park has got a special recognition all over the world on the tourism map, but very few people know that women also guide domestic and foreign tourists coming for Tiger Safari in Ranthambore National Park. These three female guides give information about the forest and wildlife to the tourists during the park tour.

Suraj Bai told that about four months ago an English magazine had published her interview. It contained information about her work. After this, by searching the Internet from Google, gathered information about her. After this, she has been made a brand ambassador by Google. For this, a video was also shot in Mumbai on 27 February on behalf of Google's Chrome Pictures. In the video, the female nature guide has told about the journey of Ranthambore so far.

Surajbai has been working as a nature guide for the last 13 years in Ranthambore National Park. She and three other women were selected as Ranthambore nature guides by the forest department in March 2007. After training, selected women started working as nature guides in Ranthambore from April 2007. But after a few days, the other three women left the job of nature guide. But Surajbai stuck to her work with her passion and courage.

However, apart from Suraj Bai, two other women are currently working as EDC Nature Guides in Ranthambore National Park. The names of these EDC women nature guides are Santosh and Choti. Both these women EDC nature guides are from villages adjacent to Ranthambore National Park.

Posters of Surajbai have been put up at the district headquarters by the Sawai Madhopur Municipal Council after Google made Surajbai the brand ambassador on Women's Day.
