The Government Safari Booking Office of Ranthambore National Park has been shifted to Shilpagram:
As you know, Ranthambore is a renowned Tiger Reserve of the country, which is located at sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Ranthambore National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers in the world. This park welcomes millions of tourists every year. Government of Rajasthan Forest Department provides offline and online safari booking service for the tourists. At present this Safari booking office is situated at Housing Board Road, Near P G College Sawai Madhopur. But now this office has been transferred to a new building located at Shilpgram in Ranthambore.
Mr. Bijo Joy, Deputy Conservator of Forests Ranthambore has issued instructions for this and Forest Department has informed all tourists/ travel agents that Ranthambore Tiger Reserve safari booking tickets will be issued at the Shilpgram building from Morning shift on 10.07.2017. So get your safari tickets from the Shilpagram building in Ranthambore.
Now, tourists coming to Ranthambore will have to go to Shilpgram near Ramsinghpura Village for jungle safari tickets booking. It is noteworthy that in the year 2015, then District Collector, Ms. Anandi had also ordered to transfer the booking office here for promoting tourism activities in Shilpagram. But due to the transfer of the Collector, the booking office was not started at that time.
Shilpagram will be promoted in tourism activities due to the tourists coming for Safari booking here. Sawai Madhopur is famous for its Ranthambore National park, now it has its own Shilpgram. It was inaugurated on Friday, 26 April, 2013 by Tourism, Art, Culture, Forest and Environment Minister, Ms. Bina Kak. It is located at Ramsinghpura village which is around 9 kilometer from sawai Madhopur railway station. Shilpagram will promote regional handicraft and handloom products in tourists visiting Ranthambore. It will organize handicrafts exhibitions and craft markets and there are public utilities as well as tourist interests. It will organize cultural programs in order to display regional cultural heritage.
One special thing is that Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History is adjacent to Shilpagram, tourist coming here for safari reservation, the maximum number of tourists will be able to see museum in Ranthambore. Now tourists coming to Ranthambore will be able to enjoy other sightseeing with safari booking.
