Tigress Arrowhead aka T-84 gave birth to not two but three cubs in Ranthambore

Good News From Ranthambore: Tigress T 84 aka Arrowhead doesn't have two but three cubs in Ranthambore National park. The third newborn cub of Tigress Arrowhead was also seen in zone number two of Ranthambore National Park.

Tigress T-84, popularly known as Arrowhead, was spotted with 3 cubs in Ranthambore National Park on Friday, July 16, 2021. In such a situation, the tigress has been confirmed to give birth to three cubs. The forest officials, who came to keep an eye on the tigress on Friday evening, have confirmed this.

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, forest officials saw tigress Arrowhead T-84 with two cubs for the first time in Aranya Kamaldhar area at zone number two of Ranthambore National Park.

The tiger population has increased in Ranthambore after the tigress Arrowhead gave birth to the cubs for the third time. Ranthambore has 72 tigers including 21 male tigers, 30 female tigers and 21 cubs.

According to Ranthambore Park officials, in the evening shift on July 13, the tigress Arrowhead T-84 was seen roaming with two young cubs in zone 2.

Arrowhead aka T -84 becomes mother for the third time

Tigress T-84, known as Arrowhead in Ranthambore, has become a mother for the third time. Tigress Arrowhead is the daughter of tigress T-19 aka Krishna and granddaughter of tigress Machli aka T-16 who is known as the queen of Ranthambore National Park.

The cubs born from the first liter of tigress arrowhead could not survive. Tigress Arrowhead gave birth to two cubs in the second litter known as Tigress Riddhi T-124 and Tigress Siddhi T-125. These two tigress sisters are currently the favorite of wildlife lovers and tourists by creating a ruckus in Ranthambore.

Cubs one and a half to two months old

Mahendra Sharma, DFO of Ranthambore National Park Sawai Madhopur told that there are not two but three cubs of Tigress Arrowhead T-84. During the monitoring on Friday, three cubs have appeared with the tigress. For the first time, two cubs were seen with a tigress. The cubs of the tigress are about one and a half to two months old.

Arrowhead's old relationship with Nalghati area

The tigress Arrowhead of Ranthambore Sanctuary has an old relationship of mother's love with the Nalghati forest area. Tigress Arrowhead has given birth to cubs here in the past as well.

According to the Forest Department, in the year 2017, Tigress Arrowhead was seen with two cubs in the Nalghati forest area. Recently, the tigress Arrowhead has re-appeared in the Nalghati forest area with three cubs. Perhaps in such a situation, this area is suitable for the cubs in the eyes of Mother Arrowhead.

Earlier in 2017, when the tigress Arrowhead was seen with two cubs in the Nalghati area, the tigress was seen with the cubs only once. Since then, both the cubs of the tigress had disappeared from the sight of the forest department, which has not been traced till now.

Forest officials said that in the past, when the tigress had seen two cubs here. Both of those cubs were also quite small. At that time also those cubs were only about two months old.

Movement of panther in Nalghati

There is a movement of panther in the Nalghati forest area of Ranthambore. The Nalghati forest area is generally considered to be the area of the panther itself. In such a situation, if wildlife lovers are to be believed, then the possibility of the cubs of tigress arrowhead being killed by the panther cannot be ruled out.
