Air service started from Delhi to Ranthambore
On Wednesday, April 11, 2018 Delhi Ranthambore flight started. It is a historic day for the residents of Sawai Madhopur, because the air service has started from New Delhi to Ranthambore for the first time. With the launch of air services in Sawai Madhopur, there has been a wave of happiness among people associated with Ranthambore tourism. Sawai Madhopur Tourism will get a new identity from the nine seater aircraft of Supreme Airlines. It has become a good facility for tourists visiting Ranthambore National Park. Now international tourists can reach Ranthambore directly from Delhi in one and a half hours and enjoy Tiger Safari in Ranthambore National Park. According to the budget announcement of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the air service has started between Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur) and Delhi at 2.30 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Sawai Madhopur district collector told in the press conference that the nine-seater aircraft of Supreme Airlines will depart from Delhi at 1 pm and will land at Chakkainpura airstrip of Sawai Madhopur at 2.30 PM. Similarly, this aircraft will depart from Sawai Madhopur at 3.00 pm and reach Delhi Airport at 4.30 pm. This air service of Supreme Airlines's nine-seater aircraft will be available for 6 days in week from Monday to Saturday. This facility will not be on Sunday.
Ranthambore National Park is a huge wildlife sanctuary near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, which is a located in North India. It was known as a former royal hunting ground. But today it is home to Tiger, Leopard and Marsh crocodile. Its sites include 10th-century Ranthambore Fort and Ganesh temple, which is on the hilltop. But today, Ranthambore has gained of connecting to the India's capital Delhi with the air route. If someone is more comfortable to travel through the air, then now every day a round trip flight is available from Delhi to Ranthambore. However, Ranthambore' s nearest international airport is Jaipur (JAI) which is well connected to other major cities of India and it is around approx. 165 km by road from Ranthambore. There are regular flights to Jaipur from all major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi.
