The Tigress Lightning T -83 of Ranthambore National Park has been shifted to Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve by the Forest Department team. The tigress T 83 aka Lightning of Ranthambore will now enhance the glory of Mukundra Tiger Reserve Kota, Rajasthan.

According to the information, the team of forest department tranquilized the tigress lightning T-83 at 6:30 this morning. The whole investigation of the tigress was conducted by the team. After this, the forest department team kept the tigress in the cage and reached the Mukundra Tiger Reserve in Kota. During this operation, Field Director of Ranthambore, Manoj Parashar and DFO, Mukesh Saini also accompanied them. It is being told that this tigress will be given the new name MT-4 in Mukundra Tiger Reserve.

At present, the age of tigress is 5 years old. At present, there are three tigers are staying in Mukundra Tiger Reserve, out of which two are males and one female. Now after the shifting of the Tigress T 83 in Mukundra, there the number of female tigress has also become two.

The Tigress T-83 aka Lighting is from the family of Machli aka T-16. Machli T-16 is the real queen of the Ranthambhore National Park. Tigress T -83 Lightning is granddaughter of Machli T- 16 and she is the daughter of Tigress Krishna aka T-19.

Before this, three tigers from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve have been shifted to the Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve, whose sequence is as follows –

In February 2019, the male tiger T -98 of Ranthambore reached Mukundra via forest of sultanpur and Kalisindh River. Tiger T-98 is the son of Tigress T-60 of Ranthambore. In 2016, Tigress T-60 gave birth to 3 cubs as her first litter and Tiger T 98 is one of those three cubs. On April 12, 2019, Tigress T60 was seen again in Zone 2 with new cubs. And on April 12, 2019, Tigress T-83 was shifted from Ranthambore to Mukundra. This tigress was often seen in the Amma Ghati area. This has often been seen sharing the territory with the male tiger T-95 aka Tufaan.

Ranthambore National Park located in the Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan, in which the tigers roar are echoed in the forests. Surrounded by the Aravali and Vindhya mountain ranges, this area is known for the tigers in the world. The tropical dry deciduous forest of Ranthambore spread over 382 sq km is the best place for the survival of tigers.
