Tiger T-2312 died in Ranthambore, was badly injured due to territorial fight with another tiger:
The news of the death of tiger T 2312 in Ranthambore National Park, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan has created a stir. The carcass of the tiger was found in Goghati near Naka Faria of Khandar Range. After which the forest officials were informed about the incident. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the forest department team reached the spot and took possession of the tiger's body. Also, in the initial investigation, wound marks have been found at many places on the body of the dead tiger.
Tiger T -2312 was injured in a territorial fight
The cause of the tiger's death is said to be territorial fight. After investigation, forest officials said that Tiger T 2312 was injured in a territorial fight with another tiger. The area where the carcass of T 2312 was found is the same area where tigers T 96 and T 137 roam. At present, the cause of the tiger's death is a matter of investigation. Therefore, a post-mortem will be conducted on its body, after which the tiger's body will be cremated at Rajbagh Naka outside the forest.
