In this tourism session, the numbers of tourists coming to see the Tigers have been much higher compared to the other years. According to the information received from the forest department, from October 1 to June 30 this year, a total of 4 lakh 31 thousand tourists visited Ranthambore. In this, 1 lakh 26 thousand tourists were foreigners and 3 lakh 5 thousand tourists were Indians.
If we talk about last year's tourism season, there were 1 lakh 94 thousand 387 tourists in the park. Among them were 1 lakh 38 thousand 927 native tourists and 55 thousand 460 were foreign tourists.
Ten to 20 percent increase of tourists

The number of tourists visiting Ranthambore National Park is recorded every year by the tourism department. According to information received from tourism department, this figure is increasing every year by ten to twenty percent. This is the case when this time the forest department had fixed the number of tourism vehicles per shift in the park by referring to the guideline of the NTCA during the tourism session. Otherwise this figure of tourists would be increase further.
Number of foreign guests more than doubled

This time, foreigners have shown great interest in the Ranthambore tour. This time, the number of foreign tourists has also increased more than doubled. Last year, 55460 foreign tourists visited Ranthambore during last tourism session, this time their number has increased to 1 lakh 26 thousand.
The number of tigers increased

In Ranthambhore, the number of tigers has increased in the last nine years. In 2010, there were 37 tigers in Ranthambore, which has increased to 71 in 2019.
Ajit Saxena, DFO (tourism) says that "the number of tourists is continuously increasing in Ranthambore. A total of 4 lakh 31 thousand tourists visited Ranthambore National Park this session. At the same time the number of tigers has increased due to proper conservation.
