Ranthambore Jeep Safari

The tourist season in Ranthambore National Park has started from 1st October. This time some changes have been made in Ranthambore Safari booking. New news has come out for the tourists before the new tourist season starting on Saturday in Ranthambore National Park. According to this news, tourists will now be able to book only canters to visit Ranthambore Park through current online booking.

The Forest Department has stopped the current booking of gypsies/Jeeps in Ranthambore, while current booking can be done in the canters as before. The Forest Department has now shifted the current quota of jeep online booking to Advance Online jeep Booking. In such a situation, now tourists will not get the option of jeep on booking online in the current quota.

Earlier, the Forest Department had also ordered to stop half-day, full-day safaris. Now tourists will be able to enjoy Tiger Safari only by booking in advance online.

Jeeps will be booked in advance online

Forest Department Principal Secretary Shikhar Aggarwal has ordered to stop the current booking of jeeps. People doing online current booking work can get upset with this order. Earlier, in Ranthambore, 25 percent of the booking of gypsies/Jeeps and canters was in current quota. Apart from this, 75 percent of safari bookings were done online in advance. Now advance booking of all Gypsy/Jeep will be done online. At the same time, the current booking of canter will be done as before.

Jeeps can be booked 7 days in advance in Tatkal quota

Now tourists who have not booked jeep in advance and want to do safari in jeep, then for this they can book jeep in tatkal quota 7 days in advance. Tatkal safari booking quota in Ranthambore National Park opens 7 days prior to safari date.

According to the information received from the Forest Department, under the new system, the option of gypsy/Jeep for tourists in the current online will now be available only under Tatkal quota.

For Tatkal quota, the tourist will have to pay a fee of Rs 11000 in addition to the prescribed fee. In such a situation, now the jeep will be very expensive for the tourists by booking the current online, whereas earlier jeeps were booked in current without tatkal charges. And when the tourist did not get the jeep in the current booking, then he used to book Tatkal but now only Tatkal option is left.

Forest Department issued SOP

SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) has been issued by the Forest Department for Tiger Safari in Ranthambore. In which no gypsy/canter will be allowed to stay near the wildlife for more than 15 minutes. There will be a ban on carrying polythene during tiger safari and no one will be able to smoke during safari. There will be no noise pollution during the safari. During tiger safari, the full responsibility of the tourists will be of the driver and guide. If the tourist is found violating the SOP, then action will be taken against the guide and driver by the forest department.

Hope we all will follow the rules of forest department and keep the park clean.
