Tiger Safari Cost will be Expensive Across the State

Jungle safaris have become expensive in Rajasthan's other tiger reserves, including Ranthambore National Park. The state government has increased the entry fee in national parks, tiger reserves and wildlife sanctuaries.

Instructions to increase the fee by the Forest Department were issued from 20 March 2020, but tourism activities were banned in the Tiger Reserve due to the Corona transition.

In such a situation, people related to tourism business could not get information in this regard. According to information received from the forest department, now due to the corona epidemic, the Tiger Reserve will be opened for tourists, probably from the next tourist season. In such a situation, tourists will have to spend more for the Tiger Safari from the new tourist season.

Jungle safari fee will be increased every year:

According to the information received from the forest department, every year the entry fee of the tiger reserve and sanctuaries will be increased by ten percent. This new fee will be applicable from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. After this, the fee will be increased again in the new financial year.

According to the order of Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Wildlife and Chief Wildlife Warden Rajasthan Jaipur, the rates with the Eco development surcharge were effective from 20 March 2015 to 31 March 2019. Under this, the rates of tourist entry fee / tourist vehicle entry fee / boat and electric vehicle entry fee / boating fee / camera fee for the national parks and critical tiger habitat tiger project areas and wildlife sanctuaries were included. In the notification issued on 3 March 2015, instructions were given to increase the rates by ten percent every year from 1 April 2019 till further orders.

For the tourists who have made advance ticket booking online, from April 1, 2019, the order has been issued to collect the difference between the new rates and the old rates and deposit them in the treasury as per rules.
